A lot has changed since we rolled out the new look here at One Source a few years ago, and while change is inevitable, how you respond to it isn’t. We believe that how you adapt to change directly relates to how successful you are in, not just business, but life, so we’re taking the next step in our evolution.
Starting today, we’re making a philosophical and financial commitment to dedicating our resources to better help our customers. We’re doing this by doubling down on our belief that education, information, and even a little entertainment and humor are the things customers are most looking for, as you make decisions that impact your businesses.
Many of you know us or have even known us for a very long time. You’ve seen us change, and in many cases, we hope you see what those changes mean for you. So as we commit to providing content that is remarkable, informative, and entertaining, we’d like to break down what that means for our foodservice customers.
Here’s what we don’t want: We don’t want our customers making decisions that impact their businesses without all the information needed to make those decisions successful. If you have things you’d like to learn, let us know. As we create content in the months and years to come, we want it to be based on the things that matter to you, not the things we think you should know.
We’ve been in this industry long enough to know there is a full range of options to solve any single particular challenge. Challenges don’t exist in a vacuum, tough, and when you start factoring in the other elements that surround a particular challenge, you can start eliminating some of the solution options to solve it. We’ll help you be more versatile in your foodservice equipment and supplies selection process to ensure you get the best solution for your needs.
No matter how you look at it, technology will be a bigger and bigger part of the foodservice industry. From automated and smart kitchens to online ordering and delivery apps, your partners at One Source will stay up on the technology trends that will impact your business for years to come.
Let’s face it. We don’t do this because we don’t like doing it. We love the foodservice industry. We love our friends in the industry. We miss seeing them on a day-to-day basis.
We look forward to someone a heck of a lot smarter than us finding a vaccine to COVID-19 so we can all have a party in her honor, or name a park after him in downtown Philly.
The bottom line is we love the relationships we have, and we love having fun with our friends. The content you find on our site will reflect our desire to laugh and have fun.
Part of the goal with our new content strategy is to only provide the type of information you’re interested in seeing. Whether it’s blog posts or the latest video from our test kitchen, we’d love to learn a little bit more about your needs and the things that matter the most to you.
