Meet Our New Chef, Peter Mercado

One of our goals here at One Source is to be the place to think of in Philadelphia for all your foodservice needs. Consider us your hub for training, events, equipment training, recipe testing, or anything you need for your commercial kitchen. 

Centrally located and less than three miles from the Philadelphia International Airport, our test kitchen is ready to serve.

Part of welcoming you into our kitchen is having top-notch team members working to help you answer any questions you have about the kitchen’s equipment. So we’re happy to introduce you to our newest corporate chef, Peter Mercado. Chef Peter is joining Chef Chris to help make sure we’re providing the best training possible. 

Originally from New York, Chef Peter has been in the food industry for over 15 years ago. Now a Philly aficionado, he of course has opinions about the best restaurant in Philly (Cheu Fishtown) and where to grab the best cheesesteak (Dalessandro’s). Prior to joining One Source, Peter was the sous chef at Daterra. And while loves cooking a variety of dishes, his main love is for a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a bagel.
