We were so excited for all the upcoming industry shows scheduled to happen within the next few months. Our tickets were purchased and our dance cards were wide open to meet and connect with other foodservice professionals that we haven't been able to physically share a handshake with for almost two years. The delta variant had different plans though, and we've had to adjust our tactics and schedules as a result.

While we may not be able to travel down to Orlando and attend a tradeshow like we originally hoped, we've continued to be forward-thinkers here at One Source Reps, and can't wait to tell you all the exciting ways that we're going to pivot, together.

When we heard the news of the cancellation of the 2021 NAFEM show, our mind immediately went here:

As we're all looking to adapt and overcome this new hurdle, instead of "canceling" anything, we prefer to think of this all as a pivot.

Our Kitchen is Virtually On-Demand

While you may have exhausted your Netflix unwatched library as we did during quarantine, did you know that our One Source Live Test Kitchen is available on-demand? During business hours, you can virtually log in and hang out with Chef Chris and the rest of the One Source team. Is your team still remote? We're happy to put together a virtual happy hour, discuss some of our favorite recipes, and network from the comfort of our own homes (or cars, or offices, or maybe even an RV?) We've seen it all.

Our Kitchen Is The Perfect Meeting Space

We take COVID-19 seriously here at One Source. Our team is always following the latest protocols, and we're proud to also be fully vaccinated. In addition to that, over a year ago we implemented a COVID-19 safety questionnaire that allows us to contact trace and ensure that everyone who visits our test kitchen hasn't shown any symptoms.

We're passionate about safety - especially since we know how the pandemic has affected the foodservice and restaurant industry, and we're committed to helping however we can. We want you to feel comfortable in our kitchen and we are always willing to meet you at your comfort level. That may mean an elbow bump en lieu of a handshake, optional masks, or whatever you'd like. You tell us! We're happy to match, or even have some sweet One Source Reps masks to share.

We have made some improvements and investments towards our test kitchen over the past few years. We have all the latest and greatest that major manufactures are offering; no matter what you're looking for, we've got you covered. Want to stop in and have a coffee with us? Our brand new XT6 Concordia machine is pretty amazing, and we'd love an opportunity to show it off. We also love craft beer around here, and our kitchen has you covered from brew to pour. We can't wait to get our hands on the brand new TurboChef Plexor soon, and would love to collaborate with your restaurant or business to come up with some special cuisine that your guests are sure to love.
